Wes
Studi's talents and interests are wide-ranging. He has worked as a reporter,
served in the military, acted as mentor, teacher, and translator. He
plays bass guitar, sings, sculpts, and directed a short film. We are
all certainly aware of his acting talents.
Wes wrote two books for children entitled The Adventures of Billy Bean and The Further Adventures of Billy Bean. These books were written for the Cherokee Bilingual/Cross Cultural Education Center. Wes works in soapstone and other soft stones. In the past he would only share these works with family and friends. Now we have the pleasure of showcasing some of these wonderful pieces of art!
